Continuous Improvement

The data logged by Sigmund on a robotic welding cell can provide a number of indicators of methods to improve quality and reliability. While this can be reviewed and analysed by maintenance, quality or engineering personnel, an efficient solution is to use Adaptive’s consultancy service to provide recommendations for action. We are able to bring our robotics and welding expertise to bear on a wide variety of areas requiring improvement.

Whether deviations occur on certain product types, at certain times, or even when certain operators are running the cell, we can extract useful information from the logs, through the use of statistical analysis and graphical presentation.

We can provide indications of the effectiveness of different types of welding setup, for example comparing the rigidity of welding guns from different manufacturers or the effect of different gas flows on tip/shroud contamination.

In pursuit of the perfect welded product!
